Ana vs Johansson in the first round of Madrid

Ana will face world #90 Mathilde Johansson in the first round of the Mutua Madrid Open, played on blue clay. Mathilde had to advance through qualifying to reach the main draw in Madrid. 


 Ana and the French woman have played only once, in 2004 when Ana was only 17. She won when Johansson retired trailing 6-2 1-0. 


 Ana will play Johansson tomorrow on the Arantxa Sanchez Vicario court as the third match after an ATP qualifying match and Agnieszka Radwanska's match. The matches begin at 11 AM local time.
